Dress Code

The dress/dance code standards at the Mission Portland Singles Network dance are designed to reflect the Christian nature of our organization. We desire to honor Christ in every aspect of the dances.

We ask that each person show respect for themselves and others by behavior and dress.  This means avoid clothes that are low cut, tight, revealing, don't cover and attract attention to what is uncovered.  

Would it be modest by Jesus' standards?  Will it maintain coverage while dancing? Behavior that is respectful, not lewd or uncomfortable for others at the dance is expected.  We can all enjoy the dance without sexual overtones. 

It is the discretion of the board to determine if the dress code is being followed.  If the board finds it necessary, a person could be asked to comply with the dress code which could result in being asked to leave and find more appropriate clothing.   If the board observes disrespectful, uncomfortable, or harmful behaviors, this could also result in being asked to cease and or to leave the dance.
